CHALLENGE

Our client needed a supplier who understood the importance of their project, and the time-critical nature of the end delivery; they needed a service partner who they could trust to act as an extension of their brand. The client wanted us to fulfil & distribute 1000 PR boxes for one of their high-end fashion clients for an event happening during Fashion Week in London. The customer needed 250 gifts to be distributed each day across 4 days ensuring that people based in London would get gifts first. Each gift included a small shopping bag with a small fragrance bottle and a bespoke message. The client also required for each gift to have a tag with the recipient’s name on it.

Solution

Santis Global was delighted to be able to help and work closely with the client on this bespoke project to ensure their service delivery expectations where met. Based on the obtained information, their Account Manager and our Sameday Manager worked together to plan a PR distribution schedule to ensure that all the gifts were delivered as requested. In addition, our fulfilment team completed the inhouse fulfilment, individually packing each item with care and precision as per clients exact instructions. At the end of each day the client was provided with a delivery report confirming the time of each delivery. The client was delighted with the fulfilment and distribution service as well as our proactive communication and updates throughout the process.

Our client is a standout breakthrough production agency that over the last 20 years has been changing the landscape of sports, unscripted and branded entertainment. CHALLENGE

In 2021, our client needed our help with the collection and delivery of over 450 Covid tests from the homes of journalists, broadcasters and other crew members to test labs in order to comply with testing requirements at the time so that they could attend and cover the Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan.

The challenge was to communicate with those crew members on an individual basis to arrange a suitable time for the collection of COVID tests and then delivering them straight to test labs before closing times.

Solution

Our client clearly communicated their requirement with our Account Manager, providing them with collection and delivery addresses across the UK as well as contact details of each crew member.

Their Account Manager contacted each person individually a day before to arrange a suitable, short-window collection time the next day. This allowed us to ensure that all required collections and deliveries were made as per the client’s precise instructions, enabling us to organise the most cost-effective routes.

The client was absolutely delighted with the delivery of this project. By complying with these COVID testing regulations, journalists were able to attend, cover, and capture moments from the Paralympic Games in Japan.

Our client is a global investment management company with offices and clients across the world.

This client has been using Santis Global since 2019 for the provision of daily courier services including international, UK overnight and sameday courier services.

Every year they have also been using Santis Global for the fulfilment & distribution of client’s Christmas gifts, which they have been importing from South Africa.

CHALLENGE

Due to changes related to Brexit, our client was potentially facing customs bill of over £23,000 due to clearance charges on each consignment and VAT charges of each item which added up to around £34.00 per consignment.

They have communicated their requirement with Santis in September asking if any of those charges could be removed or at least reduced.

Solution

Their Account Manager was happy to let them know that it was something we have already thought about and introduced the alternative of using our EU operation in the Netherlands.

The offer we have made to the client was to bring all the goods from South Africa directly into Netherlands where our broker would clear them and deliver them to our EU warehouse.

Our EU warehouse fulfilment team would complete the packing on individual gifts and pack them ready for distribution. Team fulfilled, packed and labelled 700 consignments and ship them out to individual addresses.

Our client is a multinational investment bank and financial services holding company with its Head Quarters in America.

Their Post Room is managed by a well-known Facilities Management company whose two main suppliers are a global international courier company and UK wide same day courier company. However, this Facilities Management company, thanks to their experience within the industry, chose Santis Global in 2018 as a back-up courier service supplier across all services due to our service flexibility and reliability.

CHALLENGE

Our client has a global agreement with an international, well known courier company, which they are happy to use for most of their shipments on a daily basis.

However, in February 2020 they realised that this courier company could not support their quickly changing daily courier requirement.

Due to lockdown in March, our client had to arrange a distribution of over 1 million items to their staff working from home and over 35 international offices. Some of those items, such as hand sanitisers, were classified as Dangerous Goods and shipping these worldwide is more complex. Shippers must stay on top of current transport regulations, including hazard classification, packing, marking and documentation requirements.

In addition, home deliveries and collections from staff around the UK presented other challenges. These included arranging timed deliveries and collections, arranging collections without shipping labels from residential addresses and often supporting staff members who have never before dealt with couriers, not to mention customs across the world.

Solution

Santis Global was happy to jump in and cover this requirement.

Our Customer Service team, Operations team and the client’s dedicated Account Manager worked together to cover a distribution of over 1 million items around UK and Worldwide.

Our fully qualified staff made sure all the items were packed, labelled and shipped out according to the regulations.

Flexibility of service and a can-do approach allowed changes during the distribution including changing delivery addresses and delivery requirements.

Distribution was fully managed by an experienced, dedicated Account Manager who updated our client throughout the process from items arriving to our warehouse, fulfilment process, to the final delivery at its destination.
