At Santis Global, sustainability is not a standalone initiative. It is embedded into how we operate, how we support our clients, and how we continue to evolve as a responsible logistics partner.
Today, we are proud to share the findings from our latest Emissions Management Report, produced in partnership with Ecologi, covering the period from January to December 2025.
This report marks another important step in our journey towards Net Zero and reinforces our commitment to transparency, accountability, and meaningful climate action.
Why sustainability matters in logistics
The logistics industry plays a critical role in global supply chains, but it also carries a responsibility to reduce environmental impact.
At Santis, we believe businesses should not have to choose between operational efficiency and sustainability. Our role is to deliver both, helping clients optimise their logistics while contributing to a more sustainable future.
That is why we continue to invest in measuring, managing, and reducing our emissions across every part of our operation.
A clear view of our emissions
Understanding our environmental impact is the foundation for meaningful change.
Our 2025 report provides a full greenhouse gas inventory, calculated in line with internationally recognised standards, enabling us to identify key areas for improvement.
● Total emissions: 1,450.72 tCO2e
● Scope 1: 7.07%
● Scope 2: 0.36%
● Scope 3: 92.57%
As expected in logistics, the majority of emissions fall under Scope 3, particularly upstream transportation and distribution, which accounts for over 84% of those emissions.
This level of insight allows us to focus our efforts where they will have the greatest impact.
Turning insight into action
Measuring emissions is only the first step. Acting on that data is where real change happens.
We have already implemented a number of initiatives to reduce our environmental impact:
Greener fleet transition
We are actively transitioning towards a lower-emission fleet, with a target of 50% electric or pedal-powered vehicles by 2030 and 100% by 2050. Currently, over 40% of our fleet is already zero-emission, including new electric vans introduced in 2025.
Renewable energy and efficiency
Our offices operate on 100% renewable electricity tariffs, alongside energy-efficiency improvements such as LED lighting to reduce consumption.
Sustainable packaging
We continue to reduce waste through recyclable courier bags, reusable materials, and a focus on minimising unnecessary packaging.
Smarter logistics
Through route optimisation, AI-driven planning, and eco-driving initiatives, we are reducing fuel consumption while maintaining the high service standards our clients expect.
Setting meaningful targets
Alongside our current initiatives, the report outlines a clear pathway for future reductions.
Our near and long-term ambitions include:
● 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2034
● 25% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2034
● Net Zero across all scopes by 2050
These targets provide a structured and measurable roadmap, ensuring that our sustainability strategy remains both ambitious and achievable.
Working beyond our own operations
Sustainability is not something we can achieve alone.
A significant proportion of our emissions sits within our wider value chain, which is why collaboration with partners, suppliers, and clients is essential.
We are continuing to:
● Work with environmentally responsible logistics partners
● Improve data accuracy across our supply chain
● Support high-impact climate projects through our partnership with Ecologi
● Engage with industry bodies to help shape a more sustainable future
This collaborative approach reflects our belief that logistics should add value not just to businesses, but to society as a whole .
Continuous progress, not a final destination
Our latest report is not the end of a process. It is part of an ongoing journey.
By continuing to measure, refine, and improve, we are building a more transparent and accountable approach to sustainability. One that supports our clients, strengthens our operations, and contributes to global climate action.
We understand that trust is built through action. That is why we remain committed to evolving our approach and delivering logistics solutions that are both efficient and responsible.
